The Start (2004)
SupahFans was started in 2004 by Kevin Krueger after finishing his MBA at
Babson College in Wellesley, MA.  Kevin considered his interests in sports
and the community and had always been a t-shirt and jeans kind of guy.
While in grad school Kevin peeled off the Yankees Suck bumper sticker from
the back of his pick-up truck and decided it was time to raise the bar for good
sports
fanship in New England.  After discussions with friends and families
that agreed our focus was too negatively skewed southbound to that other
Northeast city, Kevin began designing creative shirts that speak to the heart
and passions of Red Sox Nation.

The first design came in late October with
Just Schillin' - seen here at 2006's
100 Inning Game for Curt's Pitch for ALS. Basically, the concept of this first
shirt was that fans chilling out at the 3 million person victory parade were
riding high after the team's ace broke 86 years of curses in his first season with
the team and gobbled up our shirts on the streets.

The Continuation (2005)
Then in the spring of '05 Kevin took the business full-time, designing
additional baseball fan shirts and local town pride products with a lot of help
from graphic artist and silk-screener Joe Lopes from Brockton, Mass.
SupahFans began wholesaling to retailers in downtown shopping districts,
making those shops just a bit more involved in their communities with our
MassPride products.  If you like our gear and want some for your hometown
just contact us and be sure to suggest a good retailer in your town.  If that
retailer commits to our minimum purchase order, we will supply your family
and friends with half-a-dozen MassPride shirts, over a $100.00 value.  The
same offer applies for submitting the winning suggestion for the back of your
town's MassPride shirts.

Because each New England town is unique we design our MassPride shirts,
hoodies and hats in local colors and then feature a prideful, historic and/or
humorous design or phrase on the back; i.e.- Cambridge: Wicked Smaht and
South Boston: a stylish shamrock.  See our webstore to see if we carry your
small town.

The Future (2008 & Beyond)
From the start, the concept of SupahFans.com is to bring together a online
(and offline) worldwide community of New England's Best Sports Fans. We
intend to build relationships with New England's hundreds of colleges and
thousands of high schools bringing students and alumni together to celebrate
our New England lifestyle.  Building on the passions and interests in sports
and activities we also promote charitable efforts for selected
New England non-
profits, building on our sports-crazed region's energy and compassion.
Through philanthropy, time and awareness of issues we may truly make a
difference in our communities.  So don't hesitate any longer - go coach that
softball team, lead your son's scout troop, and volunteer for your favorite
charitable cause(s).

SupahFans Local Booster Clubs
We want to work with your high school or college fan base in order to build
SupahFans
TM Booster Clubs- these are students, faculty and families that not
only root for your local team(s) but are also active in the community whether
through volunteering or through qualified charitable contributions. Email us to
find out how to set up your Local SupahFans
TM Booster Club.

Our Distribution Strategy
Besides our webstore, we do aggressive street sales, game day sales and barhopping
selling shirts to drunks like a pusherman. We're developing a great concept for
delivering shirts locally to some of your New England communities- sorry, mainly
Boston where we work. Stay tuned.

Our products are also carried by independent retailers on the main streets of New
England. We want you to shop our retailers but advise that very few are chain
stores and we don't sell to mall kiosks any more.  We deeply respect how hard
those particular retailers work; however, what's New England about a Simon Mall?
Shop Local as often as you can- that's real New England.

Also, please buy our originals and be aware of knock-offs. We brand our clothes
with our logo so if it doesn't say SupahFans, it's not so super, is it?

Lastly, we acknowledge our website is underdesigned- SupahFans is a grass roots
effort funded only by our sales.

We're in the process of developing a better functioning website this spring.  Stay
tuned, stay patient, & stay fresh daily!!
Our Retailers- please also read our RETAILER page

Please do your best to patronize the hard working retailers we supply our
products to because without them we can't develop our brands like
MassPride- featured throughout the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
Additionally, these folks keep our communities vibrant and uniquely New
England.  Imagine if all of our shopping was at Wal-Mart or the
Malls....ugh...there's nothing New England about either one, is there?
